What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a state of focused concentration and inward attention that allows a person to utilize their inner resources to make positive change, address difficult challenges in their life, and manage emotional, mood, and behavioral problems.

Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy used to create subconscious change in client’s thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors. Hypnotherapy uses the tool of hypnosis to allow the clinician to bypass the thinking, conscious mind in order to access deeper mental states of the subconscious mind.

How it Works?

A person under hypnosis is in a state of heightened focus, relaxation, and concentration on specific thoughts and memories, which allows the client to block out sources of avoidance and distraction and heighten their responsiveness to suggestibility.

Hypnosis has 4 main goals: 1. Relaxation, 2. Remove Resistance, 3. Bypass the Critical Conscious Mind, and 4. Access the Subconscious Mind.
